Special Offer - Forest Health Monitoring Service
Baltic Satellite Service has developed a new service for assessing forest health risks and changes, enabling forest owners to swiftly adapt management strategies and mitigate damage. A fully automatic service that provides the most up-to-date data on forest health risks (excess water, bark beetles, diseases, windfalls) and changes (clear-cutting, new forest growth) has been validated over more that 2000 km2 of forest. It is accurate and shows trends in forest health data.
Forest owners will greatly benefit from the service, saving time, money and immediately adapting forest management strategies, taking immediate action to reduce impacts (targeted harvesting of infested trees, use of appropriate insecticides, destruction of beaver dams, etc.), save healthy trees by accurately identifying high-risk areas to reduce the risk of further damage.
